We stayed at a charming hotel with a unique atmosphere in northeast California. The location was great, as it was really close to everything in town. The room was small but cozy, and the clawed tub was a wonderful feature in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and personable, providing a warm welcome upon check-in. Additionally, the hotel had a restaurant, cafe, and saloon on the ground floor, making it convenient for dining options.
Finding the check-in location was a challenge due to a lack of signage.

The value for money at this beautifully restored old hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and uniquely decorated, with individualized themes. The staff at Niles was fantastic, providing friendly and personable service.
The breakfast menu could be improved by starting service a bit earlier, as 9:00 AM was too late for many travelers.

A Hidden Gem
We arrived at this charming hotel and were immediately transported to a bygone era. The vintage decor and unique rooms gave us a sense of nostalgia. The small bar where we checked in added to the old-world charm. Despite being in the off season, we were greeted warmly by the friendly hosts. The delicious late-night meal we enjoyed exceeded our expectations. While the bathrooms were older, they added to the authenticity of the experience. The cozy room, complete with a comfortable bed and ample hot water, provided a peaceful retreat. The coffee shop downstairs was a lovely bonus. we had a delightful stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel.
